New initiatives target improved waste behaviours 
On 31 August 2020, the Minister for Environment launched the ‘WasteSorted – landfill is the last resort’ campaign to encourage people to correctly sort their waste and unwanted items in an effort to reduce the volume of waste going to landfill in Western Australia.
