Join us for a fabulous afternoon of Clothes Connection: Repairing, Trading, Exploring and how this can connect us within our local communities and neighbouring suburbs.

This exciting event is hosted by the Town of Bassendean, City of Bayswater and the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council.

Whether you want to repair your favourite garments, trade clothes with fellow fashion enthusiasts, or explore new eco-friendly options, this event has something for everyone. Join us at the Bassendean Seniors & Community Centre for an afternoon filled with creativity, sustainability, and style.

This event will take place alongside the Bassendean Night Markets.

What to expect:

Clothes Swap, Workshop, Demonstrations - Showcasing our amazing community & contributors:

• Rag Bag Women from Bayswater – 3-5 pm – Coil Weaving Bag Workshop with Terri
• Care to Rewear Clothes Swap, 4-6 pm with the EMRC
• Just Four Ewes from Bassendean – Spinning yarn demonstration from Plant to Fabric weaving with Jean
• Share and Repair - Clothes repair (A part of Enviro House / Sustainable Bayswater)
• Repair Café Bassendean – Volunteering Community Signup
